GÜMÜŞHANE – KALE DUAL CARRIAGEWAY

It is awarded by the 10th Regional Directorate of the
General Directorate of Highways and the construction
of project has commenced in mid of 2011.The Project
has aimed to enable a high transportation standards
between Gümüşhane-Kale which is the significant part
of North-South route. The scope of 18,5 km long
highway is; 1.000.000 m³ earth works, 250.000 m³
structural excavations, 200.000 m³ reinforced concre-
te, 150.000 m³ rock fill, wall and blocking, 50.000 m²
Geogrid Reinforced Earth Wall, 230.000 tons of plant
mix sub-base, 210.000 tons plant mix base, 200.000
tons bituminous hot mix asphalt, constructions of 11
bridges and 370 m long tunnel.
