MALATYA – GÖLBAŞI INTERSECTIONS DARENDE (KARAHAN TUNNEL)
It is awarded by the 8th Regional Directorate of the General Directorate of Highways,
the project consists of 9 km section of route, connecting the Eastern and South East
Anatolian Regions to Mediterranean, Central Anatolia and Black Sea Regions. Upon
the completion of 2×1600 meter length Karahan Tunnel, the traffic flow level will be redu-
ced as to provide more safety. Within the scope of the project that will improve the physi-
cal and geometrical standard of route, earthworks, structural, tunnel and hot mix asphalt
works are being carried out.
