It is awarded by General Directorate of Electricity Production Inc. and completed between 17/07/2002- 04/08/2010.The environmental project covers the transfer of cinder coming from burned solid fuel at Thermic plant via special pipes with water to the upstream basin of proposed dam and so that enables re-use of that water. The type of dam to be constructed for the environmental purpose, is the clay core rock fill and under the scope of the dam, access tunnel, sluice outlet, 1080m long 1st level of main force line, 5697 m long 2nd level of main force line, valve chamber, steel pipes, steel structures of bridge, commissioning, provision material and access road works have been performed by Joint venture of YAYLA-TİMTAŞ-CEYLAN-STY(sharing %25).
